Project Reassurance

Theta Rho Sigma works collaboratively with the March of Dimes to implement Project Reassurance. This project offers opportunities for expectant teenage parents to participate in educational programs that assist them in making informed decisions related to health, responsible childbearing and parenting. Through our April Showers, we provide community wide education about the importance of and access to early and regular prenatal care for young mothers, information and access to community resources and exposure and relationships with adults that will enhance young mothers’ capacity for self-sufficiency and broaden their life options. ¬†For their participation in this event, each attendee will be showered with gifts for their newborn on behalf of Theta Rho Sigma Chapter.
